2/21/10 Stella arrived last night from a South Carolina shelter and she is a great big bundle of love. She has a muted black & tan coloring, with a houndlike face and body but with the ears, tails and sturdier build of a lab. Like all lab mixes, at 1 year old she is still puppylike, with full-body wiggles while she walks, ever present smile, prancing when she walks, and a tail that could clear a coffee table because it's wagging non-stop. She is good with the other dogs and with the cats. Stella clearly has never been in a house much and at first walked around bracing herslf as if she expects her feet to slip out from under her. Just a really sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be someone's beloved darling.
Stella is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, already house and crate-trained and is quickly learning basic commands (come, no, & sit).
Notes from the shelter: Stella, is an absolute love. She is calm & mannerly and will be a great companion to someone out there. Is it you? Her owner brought her in b/c her new home did not have a fenced yard.
