5/2/10 Sox was at the Meet and Greet today and is progressing little by little.  He is starting to mingle with the other dogs but is still on the shy side.  He does continue to move forward to becoming more socialized and is just a super pup. In his foster home he is more lively, it is not as hectic as in a public place with other dogs walking and barking all around you.

Sox will be at the DE Dog Fest on Sunday, 4/18/10. Click on the EVENTS tab for details.

4/6/10 Update from his foster mom: Sox is an amazing little boy, has not made one potty mistake in the house for a puppy that is unreal.  He loves to be by your side constantly giving kisses, so cute.  He does well with dogs and cats, although Bode my other foster can be a bit rough with him, he does his best to keep up.  He is very reactive to loud sounds, would def do better in a calm quiet house, although he can get very excited and playful at times.  He is a very easy, very sweet little boy.  He is quite small, at about 15 lbs, he is a great size.  Does pretty well in the car and on leash.  Just a great little guy!!!!

Sox (Han) is a sweet but timid boy.  He is up to date on shots, neutered, and houserained.

His mom, Gracie, was found wandering down a rural highway very pregnant. Someone found her, took her in and let her have her pups at their home, then took them to a shelter to find them homes.   None of the puppies have their mom's coloring so we can only guess on what type of dog she mated with. Sox looks like a mini lab pup.

ADOPTION FEE
All applicants must pay the adoption donation fee in full at the time of adoption.  This fee is currently $250 for a spayed/neutered dog and $200 for a puppy below 8 months old.  For a puppy who is too young to be spayed/neutered we also require a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter. This fee is NOT a price for the pet, it is needed to help recover some of the costs that TreeTops Animal Rescue incurs while rescuing the animal from the shelter, fostering them in our homes, and providing them with medical care, and to allow us to continue to rescue other animals.  On average, the actual cost of caring for an animal is well above this fee.
