Wonderful Whippet mix needs “forever” home.  We have been fostering her for 2 months with the intent to adopt her, but find that allergies are going to force us to give her up.  We have 2 other dogs that do not shed, but we were so taken with Tatia (pronounced “Tashia”) that we wanted to give her a try. Unfortunately, even her minimal shedding was too much for me.

This is an awesome 2 year old sweetheart, who gets along great with other dogs (does wonderfully with ours) and is good with kids.  She is timid at first, but quickly warms up to the lady of the house and to children.  She is not so fast to accept the man of the house, however……..he would need to be very patient.  She is extremely affectionate once he wins her over.

Tatia is particularly fun outside, as she runs as fast as lightning and loves to play ball.  She is also great on a leash.  In the house, she is completely content to cuddle up and mellow out.  She is a very loving and well mannered dog.  She is extremely smart and listens to and obeys commands well.  She is housebroken, spayed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped.  She would make a wonderful and devoted addition to the right home……particularly that of a single woman or single mom.  We are so sad to have to let her go and don’t want her to have to go back to the rescue we got her from (it's a different rescue than TreeTops).  Please call or email if you think you could offer her the home she deserves.
